Seek and You Shall Find (April 19, 2009)

Thomas is the premiere example in Scripture of the journey from skepticism and doubt to what the Apostle Paul calls, "the full wealth of conviction." Thomas was honest, refusing to say he knew what he did not know. Thomas was a scientist, wanting to see the evidence for himself. And when Thomas was convinced, he was passionate, declaring at the feet of the Risen Christ, "My Lord, and my God!" He voices our doubts that we might increase in faith. Immediately following this message is the testimony of video-game developer Peter Akemann, a brilliant man whose doubts were transformed into a robust and passionate faith in Christ.
